we may want to discuss the water tank matter first in the EGM, as it will greatly effect the decision making for the CCTV.
we have 8 water tanks at the roof top, 4 at blk j, 4 at blk k, all of them over the age of 15 yrs old.
their condition, at the moment 2 got major leak, 2 got bad leak but not so critical, another 2 minor leak, then 2 more are just ok.
as per the information & quotation from contractors, we can go for few options pertaining to the repair, ranging from RM10K to 40K, which we will present for residents to consider.
from our cash flow projection for the 2nd half of year, we do have abt RM40k for some major project or repair apart from the normally & general maintenance.
so it's the reason why we want to decide on the water tank ahead of CCTV, if residents go for the option which cost RM40k (long lasting solution), then there will no subsidy on CCTV (in case residents still want CCTV), but like wise if residents choose the option for short term solution repair, then can hope for some subsidy for CCTV.
side tract a bit, since few months ago some committee members questioned by residents why want to waste money to install CCTV for every floor, we would like to clarify that JMB have never decided to install CCTV for this project, but it just we hv got some residents suggested to us for this, & our job is to open it up for residents to consider.
(pls check the article posted at 23/4/11 where CCTV for every floor was first mentioned)

I would like to thank you guy's each and every one hard working to bring this durian party. I didn't expect the event happen with good unity and happiness.I stay most of the apartment during my bachelor time but there is NO gathering like that, but here i tell you yahoooooooooooooooooo.....I;m happy to stay here..
I come there around 5pm but the durian haven't arrive yet, but I saw Mr.Cheng ask the indian member" What happen, and where is the durian? I saw the indian guy very hard working to call the durian guy with responsibility.

Woow i tell you, frankly speaking, I pay ONLY RM5 but i eat really all branded durian...you cannot get RM5 all branded durian..It's really taste wonderful. I hope next year will be same party again.

I eat holo, hang eh, kacang hijau, D15, D24, ganja..the malay uncle very good..He was explain to me what is the durian category...I'm learned a lot of things.....

the Indian brother's name is Deva Moses, he is organizing chairman for this event, & also many other parties in the past, the most hard working person in JMB, the other ppl who help a lot, include the photographer Tan; the black shirt guy name Ang, the nice colorful notice was made by him; yellow shirt guy is Jeffery, our treasurer, he help a lot arranging chair & table & those fruits too; another member is Siknee, he was with gray shirt, with the eye grasses, u will see them when we paste the party photo after this article...
what next...? perhaps BBQ/Satay party conjunction with Hari Raya celebration...

The best part to me is the get together. That make the residential more warm and friendly. I can see different races joining the program and that is muhibah.

I can see a lot of emotional reaction in the meeting but I understand this is because everyone really care about Vista Condo, the place where we call home. How to be not emotional?
Anyway, thanks to the committee for handling the meeting objectively. There should be trust and respect given to the JMB that we have selected. I support fully the decision made by the community in the meeting too. Let's focus on what we can do better to make Vista a better plan.

Sorry I can't the meeting on that too due to working. Anyway after work I reach home i saw the Chinese guy and malay guy was attacking the Blk K Chinese man. After I check with the resident, they said there is some misunderstanding, anyway how come they can push him away. this the not good attitude and the malay guy, useless....ask him to remove his car first and he want to talk a lot. Vista condo guy, pls follow the house rules.
Let the JMB member do the tank leaking, they work for us with out any salary. We should pay him some allowance. And now they work free and still want to asking too many explanation.
Mr.cheng and team, pls continue your task with full of vista support, you don't worry about the 2 guy's.We support you guy's. We struggle in the day and nite on the leaking....

even thou there is a lot emotional but I thank to JMB member was control their emotional too. If both parties emotional, than i need to handle in different way.
To special words for VISTA resident,
Most of the JMB member doing their volunteer work, so give them support, don't give them pressure because they not paid for it.

abt the commotion in between the current & previous treasurer, really unexpected, i guess there some under current issue, will find chance to talk to them.
some of the question seems a bit too sharp, ah.....! but it's ok coz our tummy is big enough to swallow them, no problem...(say it with tears...:)
with talk abt EGM more in the coming post, but anywhere, do enjoy much in the house rules section, happy to see the good participation of residents in contributing ideas.
