few incidents of sticker

out of abt 400 stickers which hv been given out, few incidents brought to our attention, it's a good experience for improvement.

2 residents placed the car sticker outside wind screen, we managed to alert 1, then he moved it to another side of screen, the sticker saved.

but b4 we hv chance to alert another 1, as expected, car sticker lost, sigh! (we decide not to charge RM50 for it, coz the notice hasn't been put up yet)

Ganesan the guard caught a tenant with a funny look bike sticker, oh, it's a scanned one, we warn that fella, confiscate the counterfeit sticker, bar the bike until he got the proper sticker.

Deva saw a car with the blank sticker (w/o info of car# & lot#), checked with the owner, she said the sticker was given by her landlord, oh, she added her landlord got it from the previous management....???

we bar the car too, will check with her landlord where the blank sticker come from, stolen from office? or other source? police report will be made if involved wrongdoing.

also, few residents hv 2 cars but only 1 sticker, so they switch the sticker in between their cars in order to get both cars in, guard were not aware of their trick, but now will monitor them & make sure only registered car can come in.

o ya, one more, good one, a resident place the sticker at right place of wind screen, but sticker is facing the car seat instead of facing outside, so only he can see the info & picture of sticker, guard only can see the back of sticker...

sigh.....

the sticker is really inconvinient for those rent the house and share the car park with their housemates. Normally they just take turn to use the parking lot, and i am one of them. I was told that we can switch the sticker to another car if turn changed, but after read your message here, it sounds like a tricky way, it is totally unfair. Please explain. I feel like unwelcome to rent a house in vista condo !!!

Looks like you got to talk to your fellow housemates. The rule of : "One unit, One car" applies to all including unit OWNERS. If you feel unwelcome, how about those couples where wife can drive in but husband park outside? Divorce?
Besides, not only Vista have this rule, plenty of other apts and condo apply the same rule. Why don't you out move to find out?

hi guys!

let's see how can we help in this situation, 1 unit 2 cars, but both cars need to come in.

1st must clarify that there's never been a promise that residents can drive all their cars in, well, we do tell residents that we will try to help them by the end of july, when all the confussion abt sticker been cleared by then.

so now, let's consider the option we hv, the easy one is wait for one more week, when unclaimed lot are available to be rented out, estimation is abt 30 lot, RM50 per mth, tenure is 3 mths.

we also consider to issue special pass to the residents whose 1st car will be away for longer period of time (like go outstation, van inspection...), the special pass is for the 2nd car while the 1st car is away.

but for day to day having 2 cars sharing same parking lot, it wil post a huge challenge for us, as u can see some residents hv oredi started mis-use the stickers, parking their 2 cars in the parking area, this really not bringing any positive feeling abt allowing residents to take turn to park 2nd car in parking area.

but it doesn't mean we will stop trying, we wil discuss abt this in wednesday night JMB meeting, hopefully committee hv some good idea how to deal with the matter, & we welcome residents to write to us to provide us some insight too.

thanks.

why we cant just mark the parking lot number in the sticker, instead of vehical number?
