lift upgrading & house rules matters

our sincere apology for not be able to get the upgraded lift running during the Hari Raya holidays....

we did have a very tense moment with the vendor few days before Raya as he told us he can't fulfill his pledge for getting the lift ready for the Raya, we were quite upset over his explanation that "too many modification & wiring works" for the lift upgrade, we are stuck in the situation that we worry the most, ie they took too long for the upgrading!!!

from the arrival of the parts until this day, it's abt 1 month already, we expected them to complete 1 lift in abt 3 weeks' time, but...., actually now we feel quite bad as we also wrongfully gave residents false hope of having the lift running in Raya, again, sorry very much.

the day before Raya, after some unhappy conversation with the vendor due to the delay of job, we did urge him to give us the estimated time when the lift can be up, at that time he can't answer but said will let us know after Raya, we will definitely update our residents once he reply us, sigh...! really sorry for the mess.

besides the headache of the lift, we do troubled by the drinking party at the pool side, some residents have been calling us and the guard boss concerning a group of residents with their outsider friends consuming alcohol in the swimming pool compound and foyer area, according to them now it has become more regularly, some residents refrained themselves from using the pool & avoid passing our foyer area due to worry & uncomfortable feeling...

actually our house rules stated clearly "no food & drink" at pool compound & no alcohol consuming at the foyer (except special occasion like wedding), we are now asking the management & guard company to handle the matter and hopefully the related party will give their cooperation as we are all living in this community, it's very important for everyone to follow the house rules so that all the residents can enjoy their time & feel comfortable in Vista Condo.

Hi Mr.Cheng & Team member,
On few days ago i notice few not our internal residents parking their motorbike at foyer & bring beer inside the pool. Few of them swimming inthe pool without proper garments, making noise. Its very uncomfortable for my kids & my wife want to swim.

I still can recognize few of them from blk K residents, sorry to say that, it's all indians. They know, our house rules, is it very difficult to follow the rules. How come they can bring alcohol inside the pool.After they had drinks & drunk,urine near the fencing area.

Sigh,,,,please follow the rules, later everybody feel happy to stay here. We are staying here as a one family so please follow the rules. don't do silly things until somebody or guard to need to approach you or teach you. You guys adult so no need to teach or brief you.

Here the management member managing the vista condo very well, don't spoil the name of the vista condo. Later our housing price will drop because of the silly attitude.

I hope you all do the best for our place.

Sign board before the enter pool,
No food
No drinks

follow the ruleslah.

Hi JBM and MC.
Few Thing want to thing want to highlight

i think batter change the lift vendor already even they stretch the payment term BUT after they settle blk K lift.the reason they give are not reasonable "too many modification & wiring works" if they can't do it why they take the contract . what kind of lift technician talk like that one. is the upgrade free one or we paid using the money from penang government and our SC(~160K).

another head up is bakit gemilang use to be my old place lift vendor. when they come service the lift previously running fine but after ONE day the particular lift down. now they change vendor already.

i already feed up cause i need to walk up to 1st floor to go up then need to wait for 5min to go down?please la do some thing about it OK... we paid SC 1....

JMB and MC,

Can you provide the lift upgrade progress report daily at our white board.
And also bill payment report to lift vendor.

If we perform any project , we must have progress report and also payment report for upgrading updated status,

Please post your report at white board, I think you can request our management administration to do so.
Let our all K-block occupant to review the progress report and finance status,

Till now no report from JMB,

Please be open door strategy.


This is VISTA condo apprehension.

Change the lift vendor, Try look for vendors in Penang that is possible we can get better lift vendor and must have responsibility on resident resolution. If more than one months is immoral for the resident.

The current lift vendor have been promised to run full force 24/7 to upgrade the lift. But one week later until now, we seldom see lift technician working on the lift.

They have been assigned and accepted this task and yet will they really have the capability to do it?

We really have to reconsider this for now as would not want this lift upgrading project end up stuck no where.

Furthermore, it will also effect our Vista Condo reputation whereby state government provide the fund to us but our project will not done. For future fund require will be a big question for them whether the fund will organize in good manner.

Please look into this seriously!

Not blaming on MC but sometimes we have to do what is right and benefit to all.
