just received the sms from Paya Terubong state assemblyman YB Yeoh Soon Hin that he is coming for our Mini Carnival on 14/4/2012, we are all encouraged by this news that because his presence will bring a lot of benefits to Vista Condo.
last year earth hour he was our guest of honour then, still remember he sponsored 10 sets of hamper as lucky draw prizes? lagi best during the party we presented a request for the entrance shade to be built & for which he has promised to help, true enough after 8 months he managed to get a big fund for us to build the big, rugged & nice shade.
this year residents ask us, if we manage to get YB to come again, what should we ask? 2 things in our mind, first is the water tank lining for our 8 big tanks at the roof top, which we hope can get them replaced by end of this year, cost abt RM120,000 in total, so we may ask gov't to bear 50% of it, another thing we plan to ask is the piece of land at the back of rental parking area, to be converted to be a recreation centre, especially for kids.
(for this we would like to encourage more residents to sign up for the carnival, so as we present the request as a big group, it will hasten the process, imagine the different of the request by 20 persons & the request by 200 persons, u will understand what i mean, so can u also help to encourage your neighbor to sign up?)
his presence here also will boost Vista Condo image greatly, so far vista condo activities had appeared in the local newspaper few times & almost all of them are reported on his visitation to vista condo, this in the way has painted a very positive picture on the vista condo, as the public have good impression on vista condo, it will help to improve the market value of our vista property.
(we do have testimonies of outside friends telling committee members & our residents that they feel vista condo is a good place to invest/to stay because they have heard of our activities thru newspaper & words of months by those friends who attended our functions before)
as for now 45 adults & almost the same number of kids have already signed up for the carnival (thru office & committee), we believe more residents will sign up as the day draw nearer, in the previous few parties we have average abt 80 over adults & 50 over kids joined the fun, for this mini carnival we hope can hit 100 adult & 60 kids, to have big crowd is not to make anyone feel good, but more importantly, it will make a lot of different especially for the above mentioned benefits.
so, let's join our hands together, and make this event another successful event.

thanks for those who hv signed up for the mini carnival, indeed there's many reasons why residents should make an effort to come for this event, if possible.
for those who r not able to sign up now but plan to sign up later, or walk in registration, still welcome to do so, but pls do it as early as u can so we can make better preparation, especially on the food...

My husband and I bought an unit at J block in 2010 however we have only moved in permanently this year.
We signed up for the carnival yesterday and are looking forward to join in the event this Saturday.Its about time we keep ourselves updated on the happening's at Vista Condo :)

Some resident's have no sense of community at all i noticed today when i saw a lady arguing with the management staffs because she was asked to park her car outside as tent's needs to be erected beyond the foyer area into designated parking lots!!!its' funny how a seemingly educated woman(or is she)boils up when asked to give up her parking lot for a few hours so that the community can have a good time...:)
some humans...when it comes to giving...they simply change to the other side of holy>>>

i was in my office when got call from management ppl concerning this issue, a bit sorry for them as they may really think it's not fair to ask them to park at other place, never mind lah..., we have asked the management staff to call them again to let them park at committee members' lot for this few hours..., just too bad the canopy ppl can't wait so they only manage to set up 3 canopy, hopefully the weather will be ok tonight, let's pray...

Stupid lady & stupid man too, no brain arguing with the canopy man. Lady, think carefully before you shout because Mc members doing good things for us and get our self to be friendly each other but pls cooperate with them, they only ask you to move your car half a day not full day & not you alone a few of them.
MC members is very hard working guys, pls don't spoil them. I hope later you also going to join for the party.
