vandalism attempt again?

today writing this blog with heavy heart....

got a report from an active committee that he feel strongly that somebody try to sabotage his car, this morning he found some inflammable material under his car engine, even though it can be there jz by accident, or wind blow it there, but as i talk to him, feel suspicious too, will make police report for that.

as we look back, we do encountered some kind of confrontation or vandalism if not every month, then will be every other month, because of our involvement in the management of this place, especially try to enforce the house rules.

few time committee's car side mirror broken, one time wind shield scratched, also been confronted face to face not less than 10 times since yr2010, small cases like be scolded in the lift by a resident, more major cases were challenged by 10 person (together w outsiders), 2 times by 5 residents, also other thing like mocking & abusive SMS, phone calls, even pasted notice....

each time these thing happen, the first thing come into our mind is what for we do this free service for vista condo? what for we get all these problem by doing work w/o getting any salary? what for we try to bring improvement to vista condo but at the end get all the blame & abuses?

time like this, we always feel want to quit.

no problem for us to quit, after all, residents should hv seen we manage to hv surplus in the account, lifts are more stable, car park lot are sufficient, restored back some law & order according to house rules,& if God willing, we may hv get back our sinking fund in this year & get state gov't to fix the entrance shade.

just want to say, we are human too, do have our limitation, too much of negative feeling generated by these kind of wrongdoing, we will eventually can't take it anymore & quit.

in fact for few times we also be asked by some angry residents to quit, perhaps they are right.

the only worry is if future batch of committee also suffer the same thing (by enforcing the house rules) & choose to quit, & eventually nobody willing to do this job, then we got to hv outsiders take over fully the management & maintenance here, then the outcome will be very unpredictable.

of course among residents should hv more qualified person to handle the job, pls do take over....

As i know from developer got 1 unit never pay for maintenance fee since year 1997, until now hutang over RM22k.....OMG~!!!! this kind of ppl also got...dunwan pay then dun buy apartment or condo la, go stay at kampung house better la~
wasted my time only coz buying his house~!

actually got few unit like this, legal notices oredi sent twice, also their name oredi forwarded to MPPP, soon they will get MPPP notice, shud be somewhere in october, but this is 1st time i heard some1 is buying from these ppl, well, they can use ur S&P payment to settle old debt (mostly to old management) or else can't proceed.

Ya its the only way to solve it, thts y waste my time to wait it. Last time tot he juz hutang l year maintenance fee but he settled it d last few months after get my 10%, and now he act dunno bout the RM22k old management's maintenance fee~

i juz wonder y old management never take action to it for past 15 years?

P/S: My lawyer also palia one, cant notice it b4 sign S&P, until now waiting to get strata title from developer then only know it~

sorry to hear abt that, hope that the problem will be settled soon. By the way, pls do check carefully on the ceiling & wall see got any leaking, before u move in or proceed anymore payment, especially if u r buying top floor (i mean if), few cases the previous owners painted the house so nicely, but after sometime new owners moved in, they only found leaking problem which covered by the paint, but then it's a bit too late.

I do feel how heavy the MC committee have to face just by reading the blog. I do hope our resident can be more considerate...but, I'm one of the residents(I believe there are many more)that do appreciate much for all the good work done by the team. I'm still looking forward to see a caring culture forming among us. However, everyone have to contribute.

I've started a small gesture by picking up rubbish in the lift since I moved in last month.

Yes, Vista Condo still can be a better place. Hand in hand, u & me!

thanks a lot for the encouragement, also the initiative to pick up some rubbish in the lift, as i know there some other residents doing it too, u guys r really fantastic unsung hero!

abt the problem we r facing, my worry is that, now this batch of MC have found the right formula to run the show here, how to spend the minimum $$ to bring maximum improvement, with such commitment & integrity, if we lose them, i really hv big doubt if we r able to get good replacement?

as u said, it take everybody's effort to make Vista a better place, hope to see more ppl hv the same understanding & work together to achieve this goal.

The current MC is the trully fantastic unsung heros!! I hope they can be there forever. We may want to invite more residents to join in some decisions making like what the MC is doing to minimise the noise.

Well, it is human nature to confront and condamn. I have visited a condo which I think the maintanance work close to perfect. BUT, still got resident complaint this and that. I wonder when can people ever satisfied...so, I hope the MC can bare with this. I will give my full support. :)

thanks again....perhaps we need to accept the fact that MC will always be the most-misunderstood ppl in our place no matter how hard we try or how much we do..., got to swallow it & move on.

Pls lah guy's you all great and wonder in our place vista condo. I can see our place since from last time and now. It's a lot of improvement by this group.

Swimming pool good, Our cleaner is good, Security need some improvement on day time. Night guard wonderful, Management????????? pls change with new company lah...

Stay and do your best for the vista condo, you and your team don't quit. As i know after you all step down, the improvement will stop and they will spend the money like a nobody business. Who ever talks a lot just come be bother. Do your best team....
