this morning all vista residents get a shock to see the out-going barrier together with in-barrier control system in total wreck! for those still don't know the cause, the T&G system barrier was hit by a vehicle driven by a resident this morning, it was an accident but since damage has been caused so we still will pursue for the compensation either by insurance or the resident.
everything had been captured by the CCTV, we have contacted the insurance company, the insurance adjuster was sent in to access the damage, now we were advised by them to install (can't be repaired already) the new system & then claim from the insurance company, for which they will normally claim from the party who responsible for this incident.
so now we were pondering on the available options, most likely will go for the system which will provide more convenient to our residents, quite possible in the future our residents no need to wind down the window to scan their cards, but not finalised yet as we are studying the technical detail..., another reason we go for new system is due to the current model is likely obsolete...
also like to update our residents that we are installing the lift alarm indicator at the guard house, so in the future if anyone trapped in the lift & press the lift alarm, the signal will be sent to guard house, it will trigger the buzzer in the guard house to alert the guard on duty, also there will be indicator light to show the guard which lift is having problem...., well, this is part of effort to upgrade our facility as our finance is getting better..., remember our mission? to make vista a better place for living.

I am very sure JMB , under no circumstances done any good JOB in our CONDO
1. See our road condition ,very BAD,
2. Lighting system in our dustbin area , is bad fast 6month no light
3. Our Lift button most of the floor no meaning. Not function
4. Our Corridor never even sweep approximately for 6month ,
5. Our toilet at K-Block never repair more or less 7years .

all the feedback & suggestion are always welcome & we always try to get something done according to the things been written.
well, to say JMB (or MC now) not doing any good thing is a sweeping statement but we understand that what we have done so far may not up to some some residents expectation, but may we suggest few thing here...
1) do collect ur strata title & join the committee in the coming AGM to improve of service of MC.
2) pls communicate with management office concerning ur complaint, sometimes we also found out the reason no one attend to the problem simply because nobody have brought up to management's attention. (again i say, for certain cases...)
3) due to limited fund, we can't do all the repair at one time, but u should notice we have repaired few sections of road surface, especially after the blk k parking lot area.
4) the cleaner do sweep the corridors on weekly basis & mop twice a month, but pls write to us ur floor# so we can do further investigation.
5) almost all the lift button in blk j & k are OK according to vendor's feedback, but appreciate much if u would provide more info concerning this problem.

don't worry, we won't get upset if residents complain or feedback to us some ideas or problems, as long as it's genuine one then we should look into the matter without feeling angry or unhappy, right, we will be soon fix the pothole near blk k, but at the entrance one will need more time, now we jz fill it with debris & cement whenever it sink, as we still try to find out what causing the problem.

We can use JMB allowance to repair many thinks in Vista Condo. I am not sure, why phone bill is it 2k .

Tat's good idea to scan the car barrier without rolling down the window,...my car window always got problem even send to repair few times ago...nowadays,i hv to open & close the car door whenever going in n out...(really problem).,our neighborhood apartment(villa condo)already implement tis,,pls fixed it asap....

may i know who told u that the committee are getting 2K for their phone bill? pls note it's NOT true, currently we are only taking RM320 (in total & shared by committee members) per month for phone bill, traveling allowance & etc.
for info, since 2009 march until mid of 2011, committee had been using their own money for making phone calls, traveling to gov't offices, visiting lawyers & vendor site for vista matter, monthly average (total) is easily passed RM500, but those days we thought as vista finance still weak, so committee just absorb the cost so that would not burden the vista account.
last year we thought as finance getting stronger & we felt that the committee members should not continue to pay for the phone & traveling expenses besides giving free service, so we decided to give in total RM200 to be shared among the members, even though this amount is not enough to cover even half, but at least to lighten their burden, pls bear in mind all of us in committee are in the middle class income group like most of residents here.
few months ago, we increased it to RM320 to be shared by committee members, for the same purpose, lighten their financial burden as they have service without getting paid, again must stressed that, RM320 is actually not enough to cover all!
some of us have traveled to court at least once a month, then meet the lawyer even more frequently, not to mention how many calls among this few parties....
past few months due to blk k lift problem, change of management matter, audit of account & others, for the following up & negotiation, RM320 is actually not even enough for the phone bills! but then we thought as long as we are serving, then the short fall of money just consider as sacrifice for the benefits of vista.
pls, let's be more realistic, we can't expect ppl to serve in long term (without getting paid) but still need to pay for the phone & traveling expenses, time is bad, economy is weak & committee also need to support their family, so pls be more kind to allow us to receive some allowance so that we don't need shoulder all the expenses we have pay for vista matter.
again, would like to make it clear, RM320 is to be shared by committee members, but NOT each one take RM320, so i suspect actually u got the wrong info that each one take RM320, so in total RM2000?

it must be a hairy situation ehh..during the incident. did the driver got hurt??hope he or she is fine.
talking bout expenses incured by the committe guys..i think they deserve some kind of allowance. n i think its good that tis 2k matter has been cleared but i believe only those who check on this blogspot knows wats the actual allowances received by the u guys. suggest to post on the notice board all kinds of perks u guys are receiving just to avoid any misguided perception against the committee because u guys have been a very good servant to all of us residents all tis while.
as for the tardiness of our apartment, i find some of the floors in J block are very messy. in level 13, so much construction materials such as rags, showel, and other construction stuffs are lying around. though it does not pose a danger of any sort but looks really messy and a sore to the eyes. its bout time we make up our respective floors to give a pleasant look. mayb committee can come n have a look around the blocks and advice those residents to improve their alleys if found to be such.

I think people like to make a lot of complaint, clear their own house first, because Mc is doing their best for our place, putting their effort & hard working, so please don't complaint on them. encourage them with motive word & guide them. If you have any complaint, go to our office & make a report. That why MC hire management staff, building supervisor & clerk. Simple steps but don't know how to USE?

My house very clean compare to yours, people like to clean their house won't talk,complaint to management office but you talk about our back bones of vista condo. They try to make our place real condo as per our chairman.
They done a lot of things, eg> CCTV, Management Office, cleaner, security guard, Touch & go system for motor and car & so and so. compare with previous management staff awan setia, i prefer current situation, Ok now you tell me, what is personal problem with MC or in between personal MC member.

Hi, need your assistance. There seems to be water leaking from our ceiling at the master bedroom and it not where the bathroom is located. I am not sure if this could be coming from the unit upstairs. Please advise how we address this issue.(we are staying at the J block, level 8)

1) everyone is free to give suggestion & express their view for the betterment of vista condo, but pls do avoid unnecessary argument & quarrel, let's keep the peace & unity among the vista residents.
2) water leaking problem, u need to talk to the upper floor owner & get it repair, strictly speaking cost should be bore by upper floor but we see some cases it was share by both parties, with upper unit paid more.

I used to take things seriously and making myself very unhappy. Later, I realised that:
There is no perfect country.
There is no perfect job.
There is no perfect wife/husband
There is no perfect Condo.
There is no perfect JMC/MC.
There is no perfect resident.
Only Heaven & God is perfect...I think.
However, we can make ourselve a better person and the condo a better place. To make that happen, we need time and understanding. We need actions.
I m joining the next EGM meeting to see what I can do to contribute as a resident. What about U?
