now, the entrance shade is up, after 8 months of waiting...
residents' general response for the shade is good & appreciative, for those who follow the vista blog, they know well this was by the allocation of fund helped by YB Yeoh Soon Hin, Paya Terubong state assemblyman, but also many residents thought it was from our management fund, & even so, they r also very happy & think that the money is well spent for everybody's benefit, after we explain to them, they are all the more amazed & thankful for YB's help, of course few residents also wondering if the money had been wasted for this project before we told them we didn't touch residents' money for the shade.
we are most likely organise a residents' "makan gathering" on 03/12/2011 (saturday) night to celebrate the installation of the shade & also use the occasion to express our utmost thanks to YB Yeoh, by having him as guest of honour & may hv some ceremony to "officiate" the use of shade. now we are talking to some vendor to sponsor for the food/drink so hopefully can give free-makan for our residents, but at the end we may use little bit of management fund to rent facility like canopy, tables & chairs, of course it will be fantastic if we can get vendors to sponsor these items too :P
(committee members said i am greedy...greedy...very greedy!!! hehe!)
we shall put up the notice once we have finalise all the detail concerning the makan-gathering, we hope many residents will turn up in the gathering to show our appreciation to YB Yeoh for his support for this project, we also plan to take that opportunity to get his advice over some other matters, such as sinking fund, etc, we always believe that it's important to build good relationship with him as there are still many things we will need to consult him or get his support in the future.
side tract a bit...but also related to the shade....
at the moment, MC committee is facing a "good problem", now the shade is big, actually look quite nice, especially during day time, but at night it's a bit "sayang" if we don't put some light to brighten it up, coz if we put the right type of light & the right color, it will definitely make our main entrance looks very grand, anyone can provide some idea on this?

It's really nice to see. Very nice look more grand.so when you all going to install touch n go system for motorbike? Please install fast and get all the debtors to pay their service charge because I share the info to my freind, he said like a last time current month i pay to get the card and later i stop pay.
So you see guys just want to get the card they want to pay, after stop paying....be ware guy's and strict.

I suggest to use warm white LED sport light to light up the area. We must make sure the touch & go point & the raising bar can be seen clearly at night. I can imagine how beutiful it will be when we put some deco lighting during CNY/Raya/Depavali. Huray!!

1) tonight we got MC committee meeting, will discuss further on the motorbike T&G system, so far response from residents more on the positive side.... ;)
2) MC members trying our best to handle the things here, we r definitely got a lot things need to learn & need to improve, & also many things we didn't manage to settle as we wish or residents wish, like dog matters, water tank, car parking, trouble-making residents.., we jz hopefully won't mess up things in Vista Condo :P
3) few options for the light at entrance, LED bulb, LED tubes, spot light, white color, yellow color, etc, will need to decide before DEC 3rd makan party.
4) tonight we also decide on the makan party, free makan? lucky draw? launching of ERT? petition for sinking fund...? after decision made then will put up the notice to inform our residents.

The night guard was doing the best but the morning guard didn't do his work, i didn't pin point anybody but the uncle is too soft, once the residents HON, the uncle open for them.
Any plan guys to change the uncle or change the security company or talk to the company bos.

1) we hv jz decided in our meeting, 03/12/2011 makan party is free for all vista residents! pls come & invite ur neighbor too..., we want to say a BIG thanks to YB for his help on the shade, also other things, actually he has done a lot of things for vista, so pls do come....
2) day guard...yes, we r looking into few options...will reveal later.
3) also decided motorcycles T&G to be implemented, should be next month.
4) dogs & monkeys got few battles last week, seems the dogs won, coz didn't see monkeys few days oredi, we will observe, now can someone tell us should we keep the dogs in order to scare the monkeys?
5) entrance light, we will try yellow spot light to shine at the roof area first, but also keep LED light in mind for later stage...

Mmmmm.. can MC team arrange the motorbike parking ? Since recently not enough space for the motorbike park. By the way, the un-used motorbike can MC ask the owner to remove it ? Or our MC team remove it to others place so that can let the residence park their motorbike ? I'm also hope the motorbike T&G system can be implemented as soon as possible.

thanks for the kind words & opinion..., i'm not too sure if the dogs make much noise recently? if the dogs don't bark so much then i believe most of the residents r ok with them...
