(it has been more than 1 yr since last article, we reactivate this blog upon residents' request in the AGM)
in the AGM held on 25/2/2011, we have most of residents voted to form MC, in full, management corporation, & this important step enable us to move forward for one of long term goal, SINKING FUND, coz only MC has the legal right to claim back our sinking fund, but JMB is not in the position to do so...
we wanted to thank those resident who have taken their strata title, coz according to the strata title law, we must have at least 25% of purchaser collected their strata title in order to form MC, we did the search in land office few months ago, we do have abt 30% taken theirs, there's why we called the AGM to form it, now we are waiting for the council to send us the cert to form it officially, thank God for His help...
honestly not too sure when we can get back the money, pray & hope that it will happen in 2011, & with the money of nearly RM400k, a lot of things can be done, painting of building, upgrade the lifts, replacing the water tanks' lining, etc....
is it a dream? in fact our experience told us it's good to have many dreams, like in the past, we dream of forming JMB, we dream of having our own management, we dream of having surplus in our P&L, also providing enough parking space, improving the quality of our facilities, latest one forming MC....although is not smooth riding, but as we see we manage to hit these target one by one, we are confident to say, with God's help, we will get back our sinking fund.
so...., let's dream on...

The AGM meeting is 25.02.2011, not 25.3.2011, don't make it confuse. I hope we can have hourse rules & regulation send it to all the resident. And the Management Corporation committee member should make it to 14 member. Hope you can invite more resident to joint it, but the member should be valid to be a member.

i will be raising my both hands to agree for 14 committee, trust me, even if can find 10, i will be smiling when sleeping, ppl seems excuse themselves from joining the committee with many reasons, most of these r too busy no time, family commitment, can't speak out in group, not a team player, jz like to live quiet life w/o been troubled by matters, can't accept the fact that some of their idea will rejected...etc, actually those who still serve faithfully in committee also have these things in their mind, the only different is they willing to give their time & work w/ others in their busyness for the welfare of vista condo, the wonderful thing is, the huge load of the responsibility once it's shared by many committed person, each only need to carry a bit, & it's light. (i'm not sure if i know u personally, but can i invite u to serve together? hope to hear a YES from u...)
wil print the house rules & distribute by end of month.

Thanks for your response, sharing ideal and opinion in committe group member is very important. The decision making is defend on the vote of the committe member and with a proper meeting minute for every meeting. It shouldn't have any argument after the decision making with the meeting minute record.
In addition, I hope you can sharing the rules and regulation of the Management Corporation from the STRATA TITLES ACT 1985 with your all Management Corporation committe member and also can publish to all Vista Condominium residents. I think this can be help for all Vista Condominium residents and understanding their responsibility.
