see u on Saturday, CNY gathering...
in our last residents' gathering - the Christmas gathering, i managed to make a couple of new friends, some of them i hv never meet or talk in my 9 years life here; i also manage to convert some of "hi, bye!" relationship into deeper level of friendship, now i can engage some meaningful conversation with them whenever we see each other, and this is all the gathering abt: building relationship!
relationship is fundamental element of a community; community with good relationship among it's members is good community, like wise, community with bad relationship among it's members is just bad community. now the question is: how do we want our Vista community to be? answer is certainly a good community.
one way to measure the success of CNY gathering on this saturday is, how many relationship will be established (or deepen)? our hope is, when u come for the gathering, u will make new friends & have more meaningful relationship with the neighborhood, and of course to enjoy the food and program too!

the community of love & care
yesterday i hv a quick check with our security guard, he told me there's no break-in case reported during the CNY holidays. I hope as more residents coming back to their home at Vista, the clean sheet of "no breaking-in" will be maintained, which will reflect the security & safety level of Vista Condo.
I deeply believe that one of the most effective weapon to fight crime is the relationship among the peoples. No doubt more patron rounds by the guard, more locks installed, turn ON more light at corridor will definately discouraging robbery, but there's nothing compare to the caring community, where the neighborhood caring enough to watch over each other, take a trouble to check around, to provide help whenever it's needed....
Our JMB have been working hard to cultivate the closer relationship among the Vista residents, we are glad to see many friendship were established & deepen in the last gathering - The Christmas Party. Our dream is to see the Vista residents to form "The Community of Love & Care" at this place, & we plan to organize more event to provide platform for residents to spend more time with each other, time is essential for developing relationship.
So, this CNY gathering, would u please join the crowd?

Vista, our home
let's make this place, better place for living.
a place where we can really call as home,
place children safe to play, place not to worry about robbery,
place we feel proud to show our friends...
place where residents really care for each other,
love always in the air, not just at festive season,
dispute will still be there, sometime,
but genuine love will cover all offences...
this dream may seem far, but not beyond reach,
effort it needs, just all residents a bit,
let's work together, making Vista a better place for living...
and as for this dream, SURELY WE CAN ACHIEVE!

Chinese New Year Gathering
Residents are invited to join the CNY Gathering, which will be held on February 7th, 2009, 8pm at the foyer. Please contact the organizing committee members, you will find their phone# at the notice board soon, as we are preparing the notice for the said event at the moment.
The fee for this gathering will be slightly higher than the Christmas party, (RM8 for adult, RM5 for children) because we may not be able to have much cash sponsorship as before. But one thing for sure is that, your money will have good return, just have a quick look on the food & cookies, kuih ka pek, fried beehoon, various types of kuih, curry puff, oranges, we even plan to give angpau for children. Games will be organised too...., still remember the fun during Christmas party?

yr2009 - our vision, our plans
As u can see the tag line in the header of this blog, making Vista a better place for living, this indeed has become our vision, & for this vision comes the existence of JMB.
And as for 2009, we would like to look into few major areas, and JMB have assigned some committee members to study ways to improve the standard of these critical areas. They are not to responsible for the improvements, but to produce ideas & suggest them to the management & residents for implementation. Which means to say at the end of day, we still need residents to work with us hand in hand for the positive result.
The areas are:
1) Security (Deva Moses & Arman) - to make Vista a safer place by cutting down robbery case.
2) Car Park System (Wong & Isma) - to sufficiently cater the need of residents car parking.
3) Facility/Maintenance (Teh & Lim) - to preserve & upgrade the Vista facilities.
4) Community project (Soon & Cheah) - to improve the relationship among Vista residents.
5) Fund management (Jeffery & Raj) - To ensure the proper fund allocation by managing agent.
JMB are meeting regular (atleast once a month) for the matters of Vista, especially for the areas mentioned above. We reliase by our own strength, we can't achieve much. So please suggest to us some of ideas u have. U can give us a call, or drop a note in our letter box, or perhaps after u hv read this, u would like to post ur comments at the end of this article.

Some words from your JMB...
The Vista Residents' Christmas Party was held on Dec 20th, 2008, 8pm at the foyer. Registered participants were about 150 persons (110 adults, 40 children).
The purpose of the gathering is to build better relationship among residents by spending time together. In order to encourage residents to sign up, the JMB have purposely kept the fee low, only RM5 for adult, RM3 for children above 5 yr old. So as expected, it was some deficit in the budget, which JMB had agreed to bear it before the event, because we recognize that it's important to build the loving & caring community among Vista residents, & all of us were so encouraged to see the good turn up on the night! Thanks to all of u who came.... :)
It's was so much fun thru' out the night, games, dance, foods, lucky draw, santa claus, etc. Children enjoyed the most! We believe relationship among residents have been deepen for those who came, we are also so glad to hear good comment from residents about the event, & most of all, we are particular encouraged when residents asked, "when will be next gathering...?", our answer is, as soon as we settle the Management matter....We plan to call an EGM after we obtain our JMB certificate (which will enable us to open the bank account and to transfer the maintenance fund & sinking fund under us), it may be in Jan or Feb'09. We plan to discuss with u abt the managing agent, house rules, painting of building, etc. So pls be patient & wait for the notice of meeting.
